Wow..That made me laugh haha..

The Jade Empire has an awesome storyline. It's kind of fun to slip into another culture, especially if it's full of magic and doesn't exist. Heh, well, I guess it's the Chinese Empire, but they don't come out and say it. Plus, some stuff about the storyline makes it take place in an alternative world. Anywho, case in point, the game keeps me intrigued, and that's hard to do...
As did Star Fox! Just kidding. ("Save me Fox!" - most repeated line to ever occur in a single video game.) *Edit: The Halo series is pretty good too, though I can't stand the fact that you are left hanging by the end of them, o well, room for a sequel. Right - Fantastic Four? |

True, Nesso, so true! yeah too bad amercians always get screwed over when a new Mother comes out. We lost Mother 1, We got Mother 2, They stopped work on Mother 3. Now we got the Mother 1 & 2 collection on GBA, and guess what, Not for North Amercia. And to make matters worse, I read they are going to put Mother 3 on the GBA. WTH! I mean, I thought Mother 3 was a N64 project, and they are going to take a possible 3-D RPG as great as Mother, and then convert it to 2-D pixels? Me mad. |

Same. I wish they were put it on the DS or NR. But, who knows, <s>maybe</s>hopefully they will.

My favorite all-time storyline from any video game I have ever played is Onimusha's storyline. I have played the entire trilogy and it is amazing. The first one came out on the X-Box while the last two came out for the PlayStation 2. I recommened anyone who has not played this game to go out and rent it. It is a bus load of fun.

Deus Ex (the original). I loved the whole conspiracy thing. The sequel was passable, but just couldn't live up to the first game.
Grim Fandango, being an adventure game, relied on the story to make you play it. It says a lot that I finished it. Awesome story. Half-life was good the way it told you about plot development by showing you, though there wasn't much actual plot. Haven't played the sequel, though I want to. |

Yeah, I've been wanting to get that for awhile, one of my friends recommended it. If it's purely sword-like weaponry based, I'm definitely playing!

Theres been a few rumors of it being on the DS now. But this after 8 or 9 years since they first started working on it. I'm just hoping it comes out, and then gets shipped to north america.

the first one wasn't a cliffhanger per-sey(i have no clue how to spell that) it finished the story of the game, but not the war between the human and covenant. but it made me really mad when the second one finished half way through. and to top it off: there's no secret ending after beating it on legendary!

Half-Life 2 is a must have if your computer can run it. the story is great but the ending kinda sucks (won't spoil anything)

Oh yeah, you said it alright. There are no guns whatsoever (if you include Bow'N'Arrows). The whole entire weaponry is based upon samurai swords, double-headed swords, ETC. and each sword has a special power such as Fire, Ice, Wind, ETC. The game takes place in the medieval times so everything is pretty much samurai except for in the third one where it takes place in both the medieval-times and the present times (the third Onimusha's weaponry consists of samurai swords and guns along with grenades). Each game will leave you wanting more. They said the third one was the lasts one which sort of disappointed me. This trilogy was so much fun I prey for them to make a new one.

Is there a secret ending on the first Halo when you beat it on Legendary? If so, do you have to beat all of the levels on Legendary or just the last level? |
Tales of Symphonia. About halfway through the game, there's a ridiculously unforseen twist. And by twist, I mean TWIST.
Although the generic "We're off to save the world, are't we COOL!" storyine in many (console) RPGs is also a lot of fun in places. Like Lufia (Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals for those of you who aren't Australian). Lufia is a fairly typical (console) RPG for the SNES, but it's a lot of fun. |

Yay for Wind Waker! It's the first game I played in which I actually found myself semi-hoping the bad guy would win and synpathized a lot with him, since just about anyone who played any other Zelda game before WW would ultimately want the same goal. That and for its bright color look, the game did seem a little dark in theme.

Yeah, Ganon really drew the short straw that time. What with his tale of his homeland, the sands...then getting his head split open, heh.
