Sorry Rawling. I knew they were true when you delivered a cease and desists letter to the site hosting them.

Because half of the fun for a lot of people is finding these things out for themselves while they go along. It takes away from the book if you're just reading up to an event that has been told to you. I take it you've never watched "Columbo"? The older detective-ish show where they show you the murder and who did it, but the good part is watching how he figures it out. |

There's no need to beat his ass, they're fake. I just finished the book moments ago.

Kujila? I have something to say to you: POSTING DELIBERATE SPOILERS IS EVIL. If I was the supreme dictator of the world, I'd make it illegal to deliberately spoil book plots. -_- Whether someone considers it "obvious" or not is not the point. There are people out there (like myself) who don't try to guess the ending before it happens, so we get surprised by many things. Surprise is GOOD. I want to be surprised. I didn't wait over a year for this !@#$%ing book so that some idiot could spoil the ending!
No, I'm not joking. Ruining someone's chance to properly appreciate a work of art is sacrilege, in my book. You're destroying what the author set out to achieve. J.K. Rowling intended for the book to be read in a certain way; she has crafted expectations and carefully led the reader to have certain assumptions. (If you saw through this, maybe you thought the ending was obvious. Good for you. Now shut the bleep up and don't spoil it for the rest of us.) Bypassing those expectations by posting spoilers is sacrilege of the worst kind for a book as anticipated as this one. For shame, Kujila. FOR SHAME. I, for one, will not be reading these forums during the period when the last book comes out, and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Hopefully that will prevent certain people from ruining the experience. |
What part of "Harry Potter 6 spoilers" don't you people understand? Are you really going to complain about people ruining it for your when you decided to look at the post and read the "supposed fake spoiler", and then bitch about people saying it's true? If you didn't look at the post in the first place, you wouldn't have had it spoiled for you!
It's not like he tricked you into viewing the spoiler. |

The scary thing is, since Lisa never ages in the Simpsons, he's probably marrying a little girl :-X

You could still spoil it: Someone telling you what he does to figure it out.
I had Saw ruined for me from some loud-assed mouth girl in my computer programming class, it pissed me off royally, but I still enjoyed the movie. I tend to avoid spoilers at all costs... Just in case I want to see the movie in the future. |

This may not be the best excuse, but I try to read almost all the posts on the forum, to keep the topics blue. There are only 5 forum categories I let stay green.
While I could hit that one button, I like to actually look at the posts. So when I clicked on this one, I thought it'd be a spoiler that you wouldn't be able to see unless you clicked a link or highlighted something. |

So real footage of the text on paper isn't concrete enough for you, James?
Some advice: Never go into law. :p
Hey, that's a bit harsh given that he told you the ending of an imaginary plot based around the imaginary death of imaginary characters in an imaginary world. The books aren't even that good.
