I agree, my guess on who really got killed is Hagrid. I don't know why Hagrid myself but I'm kinda having the feeling that it's true....

EDIT: NO,No,NO I am 100% wrong. I forgot that Harry was talking to Hagrid anbout the kill. but I am still sure that dumbledore didn't got killed...

You could just say what the spolier is in the title. Like "Yes, [name] does die, it is definitely true!"

No, that'd just be mean.

Wow ben, I was right. You are... nevermind. I didn't read this read and you just ruined the book for me, thanks alot man.

Haha. I am reading the book right now, but teh pwnt!
Why do people care about spoilers, it's not the ending that counts, but the pages before it. I can guess how most movies are going to end, but that doesn't mean I don't want to see the movie.

Because half of the fun for a lot of people is finding these things out for themselves while they go along. It takes away from the book if you're just reading up to an event that has been told to you.
I don't know what the big deal is. J. K. Rowling already revealed the end of book 7: Harry grows up and marries Lisa Simpson.

I really don't see why some people have to do stuff like that. I still refuse to believ it until I have concrete evidence that its true.
Some people, like Ben, are reall assholes.

As opposed to reading up to an event that can be easily predicted? The only surprising thing about this "spoiler" is that J. K. Rowling wrote such a straightforward non-twist into the plot. But since I'm so cruel I'm going to ruin book 7 for everybody: Harry beats Voldemort in the end! Hahahahaha! Now you'll never be able to enjoy the series again because you know how it ends!

Yes, but HOW does he beat him? Some people guess that both Harry and Voldemort die, some people guess that Ron's or Hermione's death is what gives him the strength to do it....
You see, people trying to come up with the answer is fun, being told the correct answer before you get to read it is not.

Lenny: "Thanks for ruining it."

according to a recent interview special with the Potter-author herself shown on BBCWorld about 2 weeks back, book 7 is safely tucked away where no-one can find it, so spolier-freaks have little chance of getting a preview peak, and all she admitted to during that part of the special was that 'someone dies'.

:p
