Does anyone know where I could download one of the older BYOND versions?

Uhh, and why exactly would you want that?

I think you all would be more helpful to him if you just answered his question instead of asking your own.
|
As you can clearly see, someone else has already answered. I highly doubt it is a crime to ask a question like he did, but then again, you might prefer me to make a new topic asking him why he would like to have an older version of BYOND.
I wouldn't know. |
In no way is it a crime, but I think you would've been more helpful to him by answering the topic at hand.
EDIT: Also, I did not mean to sound like an ass or what not, it was not my intention. |
I think you can get old versions at this address, where the Xs are the version number you want. I tried some really old versions, but they didn't show up.
http://games.byond.com/download/XXX/byond_setup.exe [edit: whoops, forgot to replace the number with Xs.] |
Best resource is Ol' Yeller's. If you are looking to use a pager without membership by using an older version, forget it. The messages are sent through dantom's server so old versions' pagers won't work at all.

![]() That is so cool. The oldest version you can get is 314, I beleive. Yeah, it is. I was really bored one day and decided to check it out. http://games.byond.com/download/314/ That shows all of the installations available at that time. Unfortunately, if you're a Windows XP user, you are far too late, as most of the older versions support only older versions of Windows, i.e. Windows 98, Windows 2000, windows Millenium.. You 'catch my drift.' |
