As anyone around here played Killer7 yet? I might pick it up for Gamecube but I'm low on money for the moment and I want to see what some other people think first.

Great games? I've had more pleasure playing most Nintendo games. This game defines 'sucks'. It's horrible! You don't have much control over your character, and you do the same crap over and over. The AI sucks horribly, the graphics suck horribly, the controls suck horribly, it's a horrible game! Not even worth playing for free. It's crap, and I discourage anyone even thinking of buying it. I've had more control in side-scrolling games than I've had in this one.

In comparison to what there is to buy at 30 bucks and is new (assuming you've played all the triple A games....) it's not a bad game. It's also for the gamecube which gives it a plus.

This is one of those polarized games: People either love it, or hate it.

Yeah, I just got Geist a few days ago and beat it. Not a bad game at all, but people are polarized about it too. I just don't really pay attention to all the flaws unless it stops the game from being beatable. I'm the same way with movies, I watch them and like them but then I hear people saying it was horrible.

Ewww, the graphics are poor, and I didn't like the gameplay at all. Felt too tight, and screwed. If people are gonna do Cel shading, they must do it right. It reminded me of my old MS Paint comics.

Don't play it unless you want TOTAL BRAIN MALFUNCTION.
Rent it first, then buy it. It's so weird and different (from gameplay, to storyline, graphics, controls), you might hate it. |

Sometimes, you don't need to have alot of control over how the game works, for it to be a good game. Anyone remeber Shadow Gate, or Uninvited? I loved those games. I wish I could find more horror games like uninvited, with the haunted house theme. [I got 7th and 11th hour, they kind of suck.]. |

It doesn't always equal bad, no- but it's often a matter of opinion.
Rent it, save your progress to your memory card, and if you found it tolerable to play (because seriously. You only have 2 directions you can move in, etc.), then go buy it. (Personally I love the game) |

If you enjoy older games check out: Sweet Home - a well done, somewhat newly translated, 8-bit NES RPG The Lurking Horror - a very creepy, text-adventure, Lovecraftian style horror of a game & of course the Alone in The Dark trilogy which are well know but always worth mentioning. |
FOr instance when you near a corner it'll give you two arrows, go straight or right. It stops you to do this.
If you can get past the controls it's a great game. It just dropped to 30 bucks now as well.
