Well, I don't know what is wrong. Well I mean...I don't know why. My moniter's resolution and color is all messed up.
Example
Well, yeah, I tried to change the resolution in settings, but that didn't work. After I applied it, it would go back to 640x480 pixels, and 4 bit color.
Weird, when I right clicked, it gave me an error that said "Could not find ns___.dll" I didn't get a good look at it, I pressed okay to fast >.> When I right clicked again to look at the settings, it didn't appear.
[Fixed] Well, I fixed it, turns out I deleted my nvidia driver by accident. I just redownloaded it and then restarted and it worked again. Woot.

Check to see if the pins in the back are messed up, or is this a laptop?
|
Nope, nothing messed up. (Desktop)
I'm thinking this is a virus, I kinda tried to download some stuff >.> Well, I decided to download AVG because Norton sucks. |
Okay, I deleted 6 virus' from my computer, and I rebooted. That did nothing. I honestly have no idea what else I can do.

Alright, after taking Elation's advice, I rebooted the computer in safe mode and tried to change the resolution settings, that still didn't work. The n__.dll file I was talking about was actually this message:
Message to DEVS: Shell: Calling get root key before nview.dll loaded I don't know what that means, but I did a little googling and found out that has to do with my problem. Also, this only appears when I right click for the first time after my computer is rebooted. Any help is appreciated, I don't want to have to get a new computer yet, if I don't have to. |
Yeah, as I posted in the start of the thread:

Yeah, thanks anyways. 12 hours ago, that would of saved me hours of messing with my computer, and causing damage to my eyes staring at a bad resolution computer =P |
