I might get in there. If I do, look out for "Ian Sholokhov". I'm not 18 yet (2.5 years away), so I am gonna nag my father to use his paypal. ;)

How would you know, you haven't even tried yet, have you? :D You could be a wiz at skin texture creating, you never know :)

I created an account with that ref link. The graphics where to much for my computer but I liked the 5 minutes of it I played even though it was a tad laggy for me graphics wise. Maybe when I get a better computer I shall try it again.

It is an old graphics engine. It is not made to use the enhancements that graphics cards come standard with nowdays. Even my x800xt had low FPS.

what if they dont have your phone provider. my mom's cell phone is a samsung and they dont have that as an option.

Fine then, where can I get the right stuff to try and make some skins dude? I read if you are good enough, people will buy your skins for real money on SecondLife.

Some templates:

Sweet, I will try this. I wondered why they had a Mac and a Windows version, but no Linux. I will report back on how well it works when I get a chance to test it.

90% pass, 10% failed...why?
Well, this might just be my system, but the sound did not work. Games are never as good without the sound, and it really left me feeling like I was missing something. The FPS where good, as long as you kept most of the "advanced" stuff off(anti-aliasing, "local lighting"). Probably as good if not better than windows. It didn't crash on my, which is more than I can say for the windows client. Textures had some problems, seems nothing wanted to stay in the memory, and most things would stay with a fuzzy texture untill I clicked on them(SL gives priority to textures that it thinks are most important to you at the moment, a click is normally a determaining factor in the equation). So, if sounds work for you, than you are right up on par with the windows client, possibly ahead. If sounds don't work for you, well, play some music. |
