I need some computer help... [edit]

Well the description of my problem:

When ever I turn on my Laptop, NOTHING comes up exept the background.

Then only way I can run things: i must press crt+alt+del and use the Task manager to do anything.

I also don't have a taskbar. so I don't have a Start Menu...

OMG I need help!!!

When I press the right button on my mouse, nothing comes up.

I DON'T have a System Restore Disk so thats out of the Question.

Also my laptop have a system restore thingy, but I don't know how to use it.

Any Ideas?

Nevermind... Working again.

Just a note to people.

Don't download Google Desktop Beta 2.

Your computer will screw up apon removing...

I had to redownload it and install it to work.

Also scanned my computer for viruses/trojans

hmm..., i'm guessing that reinstalling windows is your only hope, otherwise the virus symptoms you seem to be having won't go away. Although, if you can access the internet and navigate well enough (in your current state), then you can download a free virus scanner to try to debug the problem from there.

Maybe the command to run explorer.exe is cut off in your registry. In task manager, click new process, then type "explorer.exe".
