Saw this commercial for a kids video thing.
I checked it out online and it can play MPEG 1 and WMV video formats, and even has an SD port.
$99.00 for a portable media center doesn't sound bad to me, even if the system was designed for kids.
Also, I believe it has 128 MB internal memory, along with a vacant SD port. AFAIK. And it can record digital video straight from TV, which is cool. (Record Law and Order, watch in class)
What do you guys think? This is sounding increasing good considering I have a 512 MB SD Card already.

Sounds like a cool buy

It looks like a waste of money...why would you need to take video files with you anywhere?

Get a 1GB stick and you can bring movies with you on the road. And the TV recording thing is pretty neat.

Honestly, I'd be more interested in it if it was designed for kids. I like my portable systems to be able to take a beating.

i'd rather get a GP2X

Wow, times like these I wish had a credit card.
Maybe that should be a prize for one of BYOND's next contests? |
