I think I'd like to format my C:\ drive, but I have a couple of questions first:
1) Is it possible? I know how to format a drive but, because it is my system's default hard drive or whatever, I have reason to believe that it may not work out properly.
2) Would it still be functional? If I did it, would it clear ALL the data(including vital system files), or would it just clear the non-vital data?
Pretty much, I just want to completely refresh my computer. It didn't come with any OS CDs, so I can't boot from them. Is there a safe way to do so without buying a new OS?

Rather than downloading a utility, I decided to play around with the options available during my PC's Booting process. I pressed F10 for System Recovery, and did the Destructive one, which deleted everything and then restored it to the manufacturer's settings. Now I can once again post outside of Safe Mode and such. =P Hiead |
