First off is the fact that my browser isn't connecting .dms files to the dream seaker. I tried to open it using the 'open with' comand but that didn't work. I am using a pc the OS is windows xp home edition and the browser is Internet Explorer. please help.
My second question is: just how easy is byond to use? from the perspective of its users?

Installing firefox would not help his problem in any way.
That's useless advice. (even though yes, firefox would improve your browsing pleasure, it's not really needed) |

Most BYOND games are actually par.
Besides, It's not like BYOND is the next MMORPG of the year! |

Try reinstalling if you are still having problems.
It depends on what you mean by "use".
If you want to program, I would suggest you read the Blue Book, but if you just want to play games, for one, it depends on the game, but most of them are the same general layout.
(statpanels, verbs, etc.)
90% of the games on here use the same old movement system (arrow keys) to get around.
If you want to play a game, just select "Play Games" and then go to the game of your choice, and connect.
Have fun!
