-Version 3.2- -Build 1 Release(TBA)- -Major Changes- - A new stat has been added - Chakra Power. This stat is used to calculate Elemental Jutsu's damage. Clan Jutsu are now based on Ninjutsu, Punchking/Kicking are based on Taijutsu. - Level formula has been completely adjusted. - Introducing Avatars! This entirely new equipment system allows you to layer your character's appearance how you want(within limitations.) - A new NPC for purchasing Avatars have been added. - Avatar tokens have been added, obtain them through winning events. - New equipment system! Seperate from Avatars is the equipment system, these are not for appearance but will enhance your stats. They are sepeared into 9 different categories. - Introducing the forge system! Every equipment item will enhance(or decrease!) stats, with the forge you'll be able to reinforce each item using materials obtained throughout your adventures. You'll be able to enhance the rank of each equipment item as well. - A brand new sword system has been added to compliment the new equipment system. There are pieces of each sword scattered throughout the world, collect them and forge them together to create a unique effect when they're being worn! - Several new NPCs for the forge system have been added. - Many interface changes. - The previous "tooltip" display has been reworked to provide accurate descriptions of all jutsu(scroll form) and equipment. - A boatload of turfs, justu icons, and clothing items have been added/redone. - Village wars have been added. Two villages can war at one time. The losing village will lose 25% of their total supplies, all guards, and a tier of scrolls/weapons/equipment lost. - A new melee system has been added, increase your mastery of each kind of melee attack(Punch, Kick, Slash) to increase it's damage and lower it's attack delay. You can do this by attacking non immortal mobs/players, AI, and a log. - New Jutsu/Jutsu Changes/Fixes - Elements - Introducing the Sound Element! Jutsu 1: Kyoumeisen - Does no damage, melee an opponent to cause their screen to violently shake for 15 seconds. Jutsu 2: Zankukyokuha - Sends out sound waves that do low damage, but will reflect all jutsu and weapons in the opposite direction. Lasts about 8 seconds. Jutsu 3: Saundo Torento(Sound Torrent) - Sends out sound waves in a circular path around you, anything it hits will take low damage and be pushed back. Great for disorienting your opponents. Jutsu 4: To be Decided. Jutsu 5: Signature! Jiguzagu Nami(Zigzag Waves)- Sends out up to 6 waves that will violently move around, cutting anyone they touch. Each wave has the capability of hitting multiple times and has a 100% chance to cause bleeding damage every time they are hit. A high damaging, high chakra cost jutsu. - Introducing the Storm Element! Jutsu 1: Black Lightning - Create a shroud around you and shoot out lightining with your melee. Jutsu 2: Ranton: Kuropansa - Shoot a fast traveling 1x1 projectile. Does high damage and has a chance to stun Jutsu 3: Ranton: Nagashi - Create a small aoe lightning effect that does damage per second. Jutsu 4: Ranton: Raiukuha - Create 4 protective lightning clouds around you. The clouds have a chance to block projectiles and will damage anyone who touches them. Jutsu 5: Signature! Ranton: Reiza Sakasu - Creates a large storm cloud that will strike with a lightning blast. - Doton More to come! - Fuuton Shinku Renpa has been added, shoot out a weak, multi hitting blast in all 4 cardinal directions, after a short time they will come back to where they originally came from. Fuuton: Kamikaze has been slightly buffed. More to come! - Hyouton Hyouton: Tsubame Fubuki projectiles have been nerfed, the cooldown on each firing has been increased to 6 seconds, the chakra cost of firing each arrow has increased, and the duration of the effect has been increased. More to come! - Katon Katon: Housenka's damage has been lowered per fireball and there is now a delay between each projectile firing, similar to previous versions. More to come! - Mokuton More to come! - Raiton Raiton: Eisou has been replaced with Raiton: Chidori senbon. Raiton: Ikazuchi No Kiba's speed and damage have been decreased. More to come! - Suiton Suiton: Sujinheki is now a little faster. More to come! - Yoton More to come! - Clans - Aburame More to come! - Akimichi More to come! - Deidara - C4: Kakura - Blow yourself up and do massive damage to everyone within a wide radius, including yourself - Bug fix with Deidara's C2: Falcon Scout. The falcon will now longer black your screen if you hit a map edge. More to come! - Fan Ninja - Summon Moon Fan - Movement Speed debuff has been removed More to come - Gaara - Ryuusa Bakuryu - Justu has been re-worked. The jutsu will no longer have an AOE effect around you, and will shoot out 3x1 Projectiles using melee(The Effect of the projectile is the same as before.) - Sabaku Rou - Creates a small AoE around you, anyone caught in the sand will be trapped. More to come! - Hyuuga - Tenseigan - An upgraded version of Byakugan, gives a 25% tai boost and allows access to new techniques - Hakke Sanbyakurokuju Isshiki - 361 strikes, an extremely difficult and taxing technique to use while in tenseigan, the technique will require complete precision and one mistake will take the user's life, if all prompts are done correctly the person it's being used on will immediately be killed. - Hakke: Kuushou's projectile speed has been increased More to come! - Inuzuka More to come! - Jashin More to come! - Kaguya More to come! - Kidoumaru - Ninpou: Kuchiyose No jutsu - Summon a medium sized spider that you can control. Has around 1/2 of your health. - Ninpou: Kuchiyose No jutsu(Scatter) - Summon up to 10 small spiders that will scatter around randomly, will do small damage to whatever it runs into. After 6 seconds, they will detonate and to damage to whoever is in range. - Bug fix with Kidoumaru's Kuchiyose Summon(Attack), the spiders previously had no movement delay, it now has one. - Bug fix with Kidoumaru's Ninpou: Kumo Senkyu Susaku, the user was supposed to be frozen during duration of the technique but wasn't. They are now frozen. More to come! - Medic More to come! - Nara More to come! - Puppets More to come! - Swordsman - Quick Step - Dash forward a short distance, great for getting away or using as a gap closer - Parry - have half a second after use to reflect a jutsu away from you or reverse a melee on your opponent - Moon Fang - Create a 3x1 projectile made out of pure chakra, does high damage but has high chakra cost More to come! - Taijutsu Specialist More to come! - Uchiha More to come! - New Clans Sakon-Ukon Jutsu: TBD More to come! - General Jutsu for all: TBA -Tweaks- - The AI in the game has been made more aggressive and intelligent, some enemy ai will now use a teleportation jutsu to get closer to you if you try to run(this does have a cooldown). Ninja will now throw weapons and are smarter with jutsu execution. - The AI system has been reprogrammed to be more efficient, reducing CPU usage while creating them and while they are chasing a target. - Cap changes for all ranks. - The amount of investment points given per power up has been lowered. - The amount of skillpoints given per power up has been lowered. - An expanded character information is now available. - Equipment will now increase all stats as opposed to just health and defense. - New Ban System. - Identity system has been re-programmed. - The jutsu saving system has been changed to save any variant toggles. - Tweaked the projectile movement system, it is now much more efficient. - Enabled Multi-Threads on the engine to allow faster processing of things like instance loading. - Added and removed a few jutsu that can be aimed. - Adjusted server initialization for faster startup and 12% less memory usage on average. - The instance system has been tweaked to allow for faster loading times and less CPU usage. - A maximum resolution has been set for everyone. Bug Fixes - Bug Fix with Kaguya skilltree. - A few small runtime error fixes. - Bug fix with events, it will no longer boot uneven participants for non team events. - Bug fix with the AI. - Bug fix with instance loading. - Bug fix with events, there were instances where a puppet/dog would kill someone and not properly register. - Bug fix with deaths. There were certain cases in which Death's would not register properly when the killer was a dog/bunshin/puppet. - Bug fix with melee damage calculation, in most cases, defense was being added twice in damage calculation. - Bug fix with golden scroll, "Missing" ninja will no longer be able to pick the scroll up. |

How far along is the sword system, exactly?
Will pieces be literally scattered around the map to pick up and hoard? Will they be locked to one person grabbing each piece, to collect them? Will they be locked to one sword? Will they be able to be acquired from missions/events/NPCs or strictly through finding? Forge system sounds cool, hope we can buy the items in addition to grinding for them. |

The sword system is 100% complete.
All of the SSOM swords are broken into 5 pieces, everyone will have a chance to obtain a sword, but only one. Pieces can be found through missions(one piece of a certain sword in particular), NPCs, special hosted tournaments, and maybe a few others. The other sword is broken up into 7 pieces. You will have to purchase a mold from the forge shop which will be incredibly expensive and drag the parts onto them, the blacksmith will then be able to create the sword for you. As for the forging system, basic equipment will be able to be purchased. When i say basic, i mean basic, they will not give great stats but they can be reinforced to increase the stats, as well as a grade increase(probably up to +1-2 for grade) So it'd be something like this: (+3) Headband(Grade: Uncommon) Stat Bonuses: Health: 350, Chakra: -100, Taijutsu: 25, Ninjutsu: -5, Defense: 30. In order to reinforce the equipment you'll have to purchase materials from the shop. Certain materials are for certain grades(Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary). The higher the grade, the lower your chance of success. I'll explain a bit about the avatar system as well. You'll be able to purchase EVERY avatar item in the game from the start with avatar tokens. Tokens can be won in events and given in special tournaments. Legendary avatars are expensive and cannot be bought without having a blueprint for them. Blueprints can be given in special hosted events or through very difficult missions. These are purely cosmetic. If it's in the update log, enough of it is complete to be considered functioning. |
