Ok, My old host had some hosting problems where the server would close...so i found a new host...well now he is refusing to NOT host... and i dont know what to do, he wont listen to me, and keeps telling me he IS gonna host without my permission..

PLEASE HELP
Well if you need to find a host go post under Classified Ads. Also post what you would like to see in a host, such as a 24/7 hoster and if there will be money involved.

If you own the game, one way to do it is change the game's hub password (on the hub entry settings page). Create an updated version of the game with world/hub_password set to the new hub password, and make it shut down if it detects that the host is your troublesome host. Don't tell anyone that you're doing this, though.

Hopefully the troublemaker will upgrade to the new version of the game, which will then refuse to let him host! Even if he doesn't upgrade, or he somehow re-acquires the older version, the game won't show up on your hub entry because of the changed hub password.

Evil, but effective. ;-)

How would you go about checking to see if the world/hub_password is equal to the hub's?

It does it automatically. If they don't match, it doesn't show up on the hub.

No no, I'm talking about having it return 0 when it finds out the world/hub_password doesn't equal the hub's password.

Er, what? You don't need to check the hub_password yourself. There is nothing here that needs to return 0. I think you are seriously confused. Read my post again. =P
