I played WoW awhile ago, a total of one time. I played Everquest more than I played this, so if Everquest got boring for you, don't get this.

On those servers you get like 25% of the actual game. They haven't emulated all of the content the actual WoW has on those private servers and they do have issues with disconnects and downtimes it seems everyother day.

Every time I play its up, I don't care how much "WoW is emulated". Its enough to spend my free time on. It keeps me out of trouble. | |
Maybe you don't care, but don't try to steer him from a fulfilling experience in the actual game for something you can stand.

I just said what I HEARD about the private servers :)... If there are some WoW games that you can buy with most of the updates, I wish I would have gotten it... I had to wait a good amount of time for the first 73 MB update and then a few weeks later had to get somewhere from 30 MB to 77 MB(can't really remember), but we might be getting Cable soon. | |
It's totally worth it.

WoW is the best MMORPG on the market for player vs. environment. Good graphics, good gameplay. It gets boring fast though... but eh it's fun.
If you've played a lot of MMORPG's it'll probably suck for you though... simply because it's nothing new. | |
