Heh. At least you got your DS early, I brought mine a month ago so I could have easily held out a little longer.
The pics are nice, but it would have helped if they put them next to a standard DS. |

The video is pretty well done, with some jitters showing that it is a fake DS Lite, however if the dimensions have been done right, the DS Lite looks quite small compared to the original DS." Are you a fan of the ipod range by any chance? Nope, I have an iPod Nano that I recieved as a gift but I'm certainly no fan, or fan boy of apple. |
Okay, so slimmer is good, but I have one question... Will it be so light that it feels flimsy?
|
Hmm..Doubt it..Nintendo almost always makes durable hardware(I have yet to hear an opposing statement).
|
I'm not talking about durability - I'm talking about the feel of the device. Sometimes you need a bit of weight so that you have something to press against.
|
Yes, yes it did.
Rumors say that the durability tests on the Nintendo DS annoyed the team so much they finally dropped it off like a 12 story building where it finally broke. lol... NDS Lite? The Nintendo DS is fine enough for me the way it is. I have the orginal one that came out and I will keep it that way thank you very much. I like a handheld that has a little weight in your hands. Besides, the NEW NDS systems have an updated Firmware on it, so I wouldn't be able to use my flash card to play NDS roms. ;) You know its funny, after reading some of the comments on that blog about the NDSL, Sony PSP fans are STILL raving about how the PSP is so better and gonna beat the NDS. NDS has been kicking the PSP's arse for months now, ever since the PSP came out, whats gonna stop it from doing it now? A slimer designed for those techno geeks that care about everything being microed sized will only bring more people into the NDS circle. |
Yes, sure looks sexy to me. Hey baby, want to go out and grab a bite to eat, maybe catch a flick? ;) That new case sure brings out the color in your screen. Oh, is that a pen in your pocket, or are you just happy to see my? Oh, touch you there? You like that, don't you? Yeah... sexy. :P

Kinky ;)
I think I just might buy one of these "Lite" NDS' Or a regular one. Like said earlier, some people need a little wigth to press agaisnt. An example is the Ipod Nano. I get scared that i lost it once in awhile cause its so light, i think I dropped it. =S |
There is apparently still and SL-1 hole on the new ds-lites so i'd say some sort of flashing is still possible
|
Yes but some of the new firmwares have a new trick in it, and you gotta do something else, I forget what, I don't honestly care really. lol.
|
Just kidding. When did you buy it? Do you still have the receipt? Maybe you can exchange it.
