I have recently reached a problem... I wish to dual boot with eh... Linux.. Yeah call it that. I have something called Partition Magic, I have downsized my current partition, and I wish to create another one to boot off of. But I get this error, "This Partition starts beyond the 1024 Cylinder Boundary and will not be bootable"
I believe that only applys to Windows, if that. I believe I got the same error, but didn't have a problem, assuming you are getting that in partition magic.

I used QParted and didn't have any problems.
If your going to go with linux, it's better to turn off that annoying Windows Boot Manager and get GRUB. Alot more easier to setup, and with more control.

Actually, it applies to some old bioses - they can't read past 1024 cylinders. You'll have to try it and see.

The traditional solution is to make a small partition at the start of the disk, and just put the bootloader and neccessary files for booting linux in there. Set it up to mount at /boot.

Umm, I need to keep it. It seems I have made a new partition, and installed... WVLinux... Yeah call it that. And i tell it to boot off that, and it boots right to windows XP.

Which bootloader are you using? GRUB or Windows Bootloader?

Please post a copy of your configuration.

I have deleted Windows XP.. And installed... WV Linux. I used magic partition and changed the primary partition, and it couldnt find anything to boot off of
Microsoft Windows(C:\Windows) : Current OS; Default OS

Well, to most boot loaders, C:\Windows means absolutly nothing. You have to tell it what device and partion windows is on. For example, if you have a sata harddrive with 2 partitions, Windows would probably be sda1 and linux would be sda2. These are just guesses and your system will probably have different device names.
