I was just wondering if someone could give me reasons that someone can get banned.

If you pose as Dantom
Uploading a link to a virus or some really stupid program that screws around with your computer (done earlier this year)
Being Disrespectful constantly (swearing, abusing the moderators/people...etc)

Theres more. Those are some off the top of my head.

There's no single comprehensive list, but generally getting banned from using the hub/pager system (that being the essence of a "BYOND ban") involves abusing the hub/pager system.
