What thats like the 8th name you have created? is this team going to finish a game or just make a ton of hub entrys? The lack of sense in this post irritates me. And I believe he asked if the name was taken, he never asked for your bragging. And Madow: http://developer.byond.com/people/BloodProductions "The key 'BloodProductions' is not registered." So go ahead and create that key. =) P.S. You shouldn't even have asked this. If you create a key, and the system sees that the name is taken, it will stop creating the key and will tell you that it's already taken. O-matic |
As long as someone dont have copyright on the name then u can copy it theres nothing they can do about it XD.

Bzzt, wrong answer, thanks for playing!
You can't copyright a name. You may be thinking of a registered trademark. I recommend that you read http://whatiscopyright.org/. |
Wow, didn't know this topic was still going. I made another topic of this kind in Computers & Technology xD

No you can't. Believe me, I know what I'm talking about here. The case you mentioned has nothing to do with copyright violation; it's (alleged) trademark infringement, which is a completely different thing. Read the Wikipedia articles I linked to there, they may help clear up some issues. http://www.whatiscopyright.org is always a good read too, though it doesn't cover the difference between trademarks and copyrights. |
