My parents won't buy BYOND membership so I thought if I put an advertisment for BYOND on my site, and got enough people to come and become BYOND members, could I have membership?

When you buy a membership, you can input who referred you. When that happens, that person makes a few bucks (I think it was 3). Just get those people to do that, and you'll have a membership after 5 referrals.

Yes, but he did say "if I [...] got enough people to come and become BYOND members", which implies that they spend money. =)

I think the referral amount is 10%, since I received 15 BYONDimes ($1.50) the last time someone listed me as a referrer. So you'd need to recruit 10 people to get enough for a membership.

Not as far as I know. There used to be a referral link you could use, but I'm not sure whether it still works or not. Worth a try though: http://games.byond.com/welcomeBYOND.cgi?source=Tails5
