I never really came across that Soviet Russia thing as something funny. I just thought it was weird.

You're probably too young to know of Yakov Smirnoff...

He was a Russian comedian from back in the days before the USSR split apart... The thing he is remembered for is a joke set up that uses that "In Soviet Russia [blank] [ [blanks] you!"

His original version was "In California, you can always find a party. In Soviet Russia, the Party can always find you!"

But, it's been used for all kinds of things... The Family Guy used it in an episode with a car with a navigation system in it: "In Soviet Russia, car drives you!"

I don't mind if it's readable, but posts like

"plz i ned help cuz my game not work i making a dbz game heres my code who cn help plz hurry ok"

really get on my nerves. As long as sentences are seperated with periods, question marks, or commas and the 9-year-old-IMer-speak is kept to every fourth word or so, I can stand it.

With the worst posts, I get a headache and imagine my English teacher having a heart attack just looking at it. If I respond to posts of that nature, it's generally with some form of "come again?" message.

In summary, yeah, it gets on my nerves too.

Hey could we please not make this into one of those retarded forums filled with people who reply with a picture explaining their opinion on the thread.

Honestly - If this thread did not appeal you, clearly ignore it. Thank you?

You went about proving your point in a way that contradicted it.You used horrilbe grammar, spelling etc. to explain how much it annoyed you.Luckily though, some people were able to decrypt what you were trying to say and found that they too can't stand when grammar mistakes are made intentionally in a fsahion to be humourous or to just be lazy. You're point has been made, close the thread.

Kind regards,

Um, what happened to the whole thing about not back-seat modding? >.>

Also, your post is full of irony, and contradiction.

I plainly think people are getting a bit full of this thread. Point proven this was one giant bundle of irony, let it die.

I don't see any irony or contradiction...what are you looking at in his post?

Look at Joe's post, and all of his spelling errors, and grammatical errors >.>
In response to Justin B
The point is his post is easily readable. An online spellchecker came back with 3 words out of 73, compared to a whopping 19 out of 88 words in the original post.

He wasn't asking for perfection. Just readability. :/

If you would make that statement then you aren't grasping the whole point of what I wrote, using terms which are unknown to a mass or using improper grammar as a means of being humourous
tends to wear on people's nerves.Never did I boast a need for perfectly written posts.

ps:responding so quickly to my post proves that with "all" of those errors you saw,you still understood the message enough to try an disprove it.

Sorry to jump out of nowhere, but you do not need to add two conjuncutions into there as "and grammatical errors" is not a sentence. Therefore, it should look something like this:

"Take a look at Joe's first post, and see the spelling and grammatical errors"

Noone is perfect, not even you. (Not even I)
Just don't try and act perfect, please?

Thanks,
Sii
