External Harddrive help. D:

You know, last night this suddenly started giving me problems, I thought maybe the computer was overheating. So after the reboot, things have been going wrong..So I let it rest the night. Now, it's not even reading my Harddrive(F). I don't know what to do...

I have a bunch of saved stuff on there and it's the bigger of my two harddrives. (200 to be exact). I really hope it didn't crash or anything....and if it's going to I can just wish I have time to copy things I suppose. v_v

LaCie is the harddrive's company. I'm really at lost, I'm gonna keep searching google, but I havn't found anything. Hopefully someone here can help me out. I've tried turning it on and then off while it was connected and dissconnecting it and ect, all that stuff. I have like 2 gigs left on this harddrive I'm on. It's a small 30 gig I believe. So I really need to get the other one working, if possible.

Any help appreciated. :3

Well, inside of it is a normal harddrive(Most likely), you could always remove the harddrive and stick it in your computer like normal(Assuming that it is IDE and you know how to do that). You could also try it on another computer to make sure it is the harddrive or the enclosure, and not your computer.

Yeah, I don't know how to do that, and I don't have a working computer either....lucks not on my side. :/

I'm gonna edit my main post and add pictures of errors I'm getting. Maybe you or anyone else can understand more then. Thanks much. :3

Yes...oO It was working(always have it on) it's just last night it started acting fuzzy, and now my computer isn't reading it in My Computer. :(
