Very soon I will host a contest. The prize, as the topic says, is a BYOND membership.
In order to win this, you'll have to vote for someone ELSE to get it. :-)

You see, you will be put in a chat room with 8 other contestants. At the start, you'll have 30 minutes to get to know your opponets. After that 30 minutes, you'll have to vote for one other contestant to win (excluding yourself, duh :P) the prize. If, after this first vote, one person has recieved 7 votes out of 8 (the eighth being their own). If noone's recieved 7 votes, another 30 minute passes and another vote commences, and so on.
After the 7th vote, if noones won, noone gets anything.
Also, after the 2nd, and 6th vote, the players will again vote for one other player to become an outcast. The person with the most votes against them will become an outcast. They will not be able to interact with anyone until someone else is outcast, in which case they will re-enter the game. Outcasts can not win the membership while they are outcast, and their vote does not count.
I only want people who will commit to the game. If someone leaves, they'll have 3 minutes to reenter or they are disqualified permanently...

That post was a bit difficult to follow. I think that is because you left out some of what you meant to say. For example: "If, after this first vote, one person has recieved 7 votes out of 8 (the eighth being their own)." If that happens... then what? From that specific instance I can safely assume I know what you were trying to say, but there are other places where I couldn't follow your rules very well and assumed you left out some more of what you were thinking.
I am guilty of this very same type of thing, so I know how easy it is to do. Every once in a while people ask me "What the heck?" when I accidently only say half of what I was thinking. | |
