On the bottom right of the dream seeker window, there is a host button. Click it, set your settings, then hit OK.

All the versions have the host button that I've seen...
If you mean the game is not showing up on the hub then it could be: If its your own game you might not have the world/hub="VcentG.GAMETITLENOSPACES" Some games just wont show up on the hub without another player (mostly seen in Dream Daemon though..) If you mean that nobody can join your game: You might have a firewall blocking it You might have a router of which you have to open ports and host on that specific port Or your computer just hates you (Mine does because the laptop I'm on can host but my desktop can't of which is stupid because my desktop could host just a little while ago and nothing's changed and it wont work.. I checked the settings and it just hates me :)) |
ican and cant host games and now i tried to play this one game and it said error something and i couldnt join it wat the dilly???

1) we cannot read your mind. what error are you getting exactly, what game are you trying to connect to, and which version of BYOND are you using? it also helps us to know if you have tried accessing that game from other computers, or with other BYOND accounts and still get the same problem.
on the hosting side, we need to know if you use a router, what kind of net connection, and whether you know how to do things like port-forwarding. 2) stop with the 'wat the dilly?' - you sound like an annoying actor with a chessy catch phrase (other examples include 'wassup?', 'mmmmkay' and 'did i do that?') and it does *not* contribute anything useful to the post. plus you do it on all your posts, which gets annoying fast. people will be more inclined to help you out if you (at the least) cut that part out of your dialog. |
