CRACKERS, not HACKERS. The words mean ENTIRELY DIFFERENT THINGS.
Crackers are people that break into computers, usually through following the same generic procedures over and over again. They wish they were hackers. Hackers, on the other hand, are highly skilled programmers - as in, systems hacker. Examples of real hackers include Linus Torvalds and Eric S. Raymond. | |
Well actually the CS people are nothing like that try script kiddies .. al lthey do is inject a dll file they are pathetic.

CAPITALIZATION is not the BEST form of EMPTHASIS.
But really, capitalizing large parts of sentences makes me not want to read it. Bold is much nicer, IMHO. While I am all for people using the right words, this doesn't seem like something to get worked up over. A ton of people use hacking, and I just don't see that stopping anytime soon. So why not just put up with it? And besides, crackers are a form of bread not a type of person. | |
It doesn't matter what they actually mean, in Counter-Strike the word "hacker" takes on an entirely different meaning.

Unless, you're talking about the normal CS 1.6 (I think that's the latest patch/version thing). If you are, I can't afford that game. Y'know, I just spent $180 on a graphics card. Took me four and a half weeks to raise that kind of money.
