I don't know of any software that will pick them up and download as well as install software drivers for them, and I highly doubt there is such a program to do this.

What I will say is this though, find out what type of hardware it is that is missing the drivers.

Once you have done that, post here with what the hardware is or take a screenshot and then post the image here and I'll assist further more for you then :)

Basically, what you do is you locate what type of hardware it is, if it is one that was manually installed by your friend or came pre-installed with his system he should have a driver disk for that particular piece of hardware. Normally Windows detects things like those and installs their drivers if it is available in the drivers list and it recognises the particular hardware, if not, you have to do it manually searching online for the drivers or have them on disk ready :)
