is there a way to call a dialup connection that you have without an AOL/MSN/Other service client.

Yes, there are tons that just dial, and you use internet explorer, etc. Aka..Yahoo, Netzero, etc.

If you mean without an ISP, pretty much, no. If you're looking for free dialup internet, you can look around the internet for it but I doubt that if you find one, it will be very fast at all. Can you deal with speed lower than dialup anyway?
Of course, that is in the very small chance you find a service for this. | |
