Why would they want you to teach them how to code if you need them to code something for you, wouldn't that make them better than you?

actually no i can code it myself i jsut dont have the time coding all this stuff im coding finalchat to teachpeople how to code map and icon..

How long have you been "coding"? Basically all the stuff you said you could do is in a tutorial really. Make sure you are a decent enough "coder" before you could teach them bad programming habits and etc. Also, your spelling/lack of going back and correcting spelling could lead people to think you are unproffessional or in this case, can't code..0_0 To prevent a future flame war, this wasn't a flame.. A good rule is to not teach until you're familiar with Green Programming. You can sometimes fix someone's problem, but until you've done a lot of green programming yourself, there is a high chance you will teach them poor skills, and when they are asking questions they are putting faith in the teachers to teach them well.

What exactly IS green programming? I now you have some articles about it and there is no wikipedia entry for it. 0_0 |

I don't, Lummox does. Look for Lummox's article on BYONDscape.
Well, my tutorials include green programming and such, but it isn't their main theme. |

I think it has to do with being a novice or new to something. Like in the army they the new recruits are green. Maybe I'm thinking of something else >_>
