Windows Media Player (Beta) 11

Has anyone seen this thing? It's dressed down in all black and its sexy as hell.

Yep I've BEEN using it. I specially like the enhancement features like the SRS WOW and TruBass. :D

Is it better than WinAmp?

*Edit* Gah I updated to it and I can't get the media library to recognize all my music. I have it search Shared Music, but it still misses a couple of albums and adds ones I deleted a long time ago o.O

I can't see much difference from 10. It looks like they made a new skin and called it a new media player. I wonder if it actually recognizes all those codecs that every other media player I have recognizes...

Ive had some stability issues with it, it crashes after about 3-5 minutes of it playing music. =/

Second'd fo' life jigga.

VLC is also great for movie files. And streaming movie files... and just about anything related to movie files and dvds(You can stream DVDs with it)

VLC for video + Winamp for music = win.

Unlike VLC, Winamp doesn't support all of the crazy file formats that I can throw at it - at least not out of the box - but I can forgive that.

Wow, I've played music for hours on end without any problems. The new look just looks cool to me espeically with the way the search works(shows album pics and such now). Its cool and all but I only use for music. ^_^

I like it too, and actually, now I think it is something else, WinAmp also crashed a while ago, but it has only done it once, unlike WMP 11. =/
