Well, things just got a bit interesting for my senior year. I'm in a class called Independant Study, where I have 18 weeks to study on my own and create anything and it could be on any subject, or career. So I chose to pick up my old Blue Book I bought years ago and I'm gonna create a BYOND game for a school project. Basically, it's being put down as a computer programming experience. I'll put it on the HUB when I make it. Expect a name and what it'll be about soon.

Nice, can't wait.

I didn't get to make a BYOND game in my last year of high school. =(
Good luck! |

In year 9, I did a project that involved writing a BYOND game. Loved every minute of it. :)

I also did a school project on BYOND, though when I was in Grade 8. Mystery Mansion came out of it.

Before, I never had time to do something like this. I've worked with groups, I've coded several games before, but nothing came to them due to lack of originality. I know the DM coding quite well, I've just never had the chance to actually sit and do something. Now I get an hour every day on a school computer with programming experts of my choice and design this.
I'm thinking of something original, so I don't want a Mystic Journey game but I'm thinking the initial idea behind it might be something to work with (I don't know how many of you remember the old Mystic Journey when it first came out). Maybe early civilizations like Catal Kuyuk or Ur would be good to mess around with too. |

18 weeks * 5 days a week = 90 hours of work-time. If you didn't waste any of that you could make an RPG- good luck!
You can spend your spare time with the conception of the game so I guess you don't have to faf around thinking about what it's gonna be like when you should be spending the time working. What happens if you don't finish it in time? |
