Wrong.

No, I really don't...I have no problem getting along with people in reality. I am not sensitive whatsoever. I do not give a crap what people say to me. If you want I could show you my MySpace and Facebook...

Are you serious?

Serious about what? Explain what you are talking about next time.

What Vortezz meant was that a Myspace or Facebook is NOT a way to gauge how well a person functions socially in real life. Everyone knows that a youtube account or live journal is far better an indicator (failing that, even tag world would suffice).

MySpace and Facebook actually does show how a person functions socially in life, very well too, might I add. The reason I wanted to show him my MySpace, though, was to show him my personality. It gives you a sense of it by the comments my friends have given me. That is what I meant, but since you brought it up, it actually does show how you function socially in life, as I said before. =P

O RLY?
...is just one of the comments on my myspace page.

Others include:
"That make cobbo sad."
"yur gey"
"Still got cancer?"
"RAWR! And POP! POPPOP!"

Well, I didn't actually mean that but I guess that's true, too.

What I was blown away by was the fact that people, time and time again, don't understand Ben G. Obviously he didn't mean that everybody on the internet has Asperger's, and Cavern's attempts to prove to us that he didn't (as if he was some sort of anamoly) is just ridiculous.

How is showing someone a myspace page (I hate it how people just call it My MySpace.) going to prove anything though? Through a bunch of 'personality' tests that the member has taken and cluttered throughout the page?

Or how many friend-collectors (people who add everyone they can) they have....definately will not show your personality. MySpace is not an indicator of personality. Never will be...the rudest, meanest person can sound like a little old grandmother on the net (anywhere, not just MySpace)

I don't have aspergers. <_<

I'm also pretty sure that 90% of Myspace's population don't have apergers. Just for the record, I do not have Myspace.

One of the reasons I deleted mine was because of "friend-collectors." A buttload of people I did not even know (though most of them did go to my school) wanted to add me. In reality, I have a serious problem with rejecting people, so I'd accept them or leave them in the friend requests box. It was annoying.

But what he meant was that you could tell a lot of a person's personality by the comments his friends give him, and how commonly those people actually post.

Let me juxtapose the two most relevant statements:

That's why you don't. =)

I don't need myspace to communicate, plain and simple. I could always use the phone or actually hang out at someone's house, or they could come to mine. Their are tons of social activites to do.

Yeah, the joke was that if you had Asperger's, you'd have MySpace. Conversely, if you had MySpace, you'd have Asperger's. ;-)

I am starting to realise that we shouldn't be poking fun about this disorder, though. Even if I've had my differences with Dareb in the past, I do respect his honesty, calibre, forthrightness, and desire to improve.
