Because its 4 GIG. Its 4 Gigabit, i.e. 512MB. I'd suggest a gba based flash cart or a slot 1 cart that takes media like SD cards as you can than by extra media instead of having to buy a new cart all together. GBA Flash Carts: Supercard M3 Ez Flash Slot 1 Flash Carts DS Link |

For a cheap one, there's the Datel Max Media Dock. It's not the best, but it works decently. $30-40 depending on where you get it.
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5131557 With that you just buy whatever size Compact Flash card you can afford to go with it. Under $20 for a 512 MB CF card on eBay. |

Well the DSX Has a built in passme or something like that. I think the other flash/SD stuff for the ds needs a passme card to allow you to run the application you want on your ds e.g. to play media the passme card will run and play it.
Im getting the dsx because its a 4Gb card and has a built in passme card. Heres a link of what it does: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnT3obt1XTA |
Its cool and all, but its pretty pricey...0_0
