Pfft, Florida is no longer considered a "Southern State" because old people invaded. There really aren't any more rednecks or hill billies left, just old people and tourists.
But yeah... if you want to make fun of a state in the US, make fun of West Virgina... the rest of us do.

They aren't supposed to, but we don't have anyone watching the halls. We had a pretty good attendance system that would point out people that missed one period but hit all the others, making skipping a class almost impossible.

Heh... that's the good thing about university. They don't care if you skip class. (For example, right at the moment I'm skipping a Formal Methods in Software Engineering lecture. Yes, that class is as boring as it sounds.)
The flip side, of course, is that you still need to learn everything for the exam. Thankfully, this guy uploads his lecture notes to the course website! | |
