dbz is overdone here, you're far better off coming up with something original.

ok right now im looking at RPG
Genuinely, make what you want to make. If you want to make a fresh DBZ game, well, that's what you want to make. Check out my member's page, it's got an article about DBZ games on BYOND, and the community's reaction to them.

I believe the "DBZ is overdone here" comment is kind of a load of crap. Zeta is overdone here, but not DBZ. Truly, there have only been about two dozen or so original DBZ games in the history of BYOND. The rest of them were rips.

The community is just kind of sensitive to the subject, but like I said, make what you want to make.

Point taken, I stand corrected.

I never voted. It's 2-0 for RPG. I told you to make what you wanted... Apparently that didn't sink in too well, did it? =P

Make the RPG. Do not make the DBZ game.

ya but i have one concern that that's decided i wonder how many players i will get cause i dont want my hard work to go to waste :s

If it's good, people will play it. Don't worry too much about it being good or not, worry about whether or not you can LEARN from the creation of it, so that you can improve your later works with what you have learned.

Making a DBZ game will instantly earn you a player-base of DBZ fans, irregardless as to whether your game is any good or not (note to all those who have been defending DBZ recently; this is not a jab at you lot. =P). You'll soon learn that having a lot of players doesn't always mean good- many developers including Leftly and Hedgemistress have been driven insane by their players. They're still in rehab, which is why they're not online anymore. The work ethic, the regime to keep her body in shape, the ambition simply to keep going when she was already so successful, her refusal to fail, all these made her a fitting icon for the 1980s. An Amtico floor only looks absolutely stunning in any room of the home, its unique Multiple Performance System (comprising five distinct performance layers) provides unrivalled dent, stain, slip and water resistance. Once, the appearance of a major flim star on the London stage was a rare coup. 'All the stage presence of a damp tea towl', The Guardian's Lynn Barber on Val Kilmer in The Postman Always Rings Twice. So yeah, make the RPG.

I disagree, if we had 12 Seika's there'd be no need for another.
