All of the games you listed are on the pc, and better to boot, then there Xbox counterpart. otherwords they are not "console only games."

Weird. I've never managed to corrupt a GC card in my life.
Of course, I live in PAL-land. We generally get more stable console games. Downside? We get less of them. |

In fact I almost got a PS2 but changed my mind after I saw PS2's supposedly "HUGE" game line up. In that "HUGE" line up there were very few console only games that I would like to have. I had similar feelings to this (although unlike you I saw nothing appealing on the XBOX I couldn't get better for the PC). I put off getting a PS2 for quite a while because it seemed that people only ever talked about games that were coming out. Of everyone who had a PS2 that I knew none of them owned many of their favourite games. It seemed that a few days after actually buying a game it would fall off their favourites list. In retrospect I think that had more to do with loading than the range of games. Since I brought a PS2 I've played some really good games but I find playing single player to be really boring because that's when I notice that I have to stop constantly. |

Does old-school Sonic count?

By "console only" I was refering in the realm of consoles. The PC games where better graphic wise, but I'd take a controller over a mouse and keyboard anyday. |

They advertise that thing all the time on Cartoon Network. It's not that big a deal.

Thats because you never gave any of the really good titles a chance. Like eveyone else you pushed them of because of the friendly graphics or gameplay. For example, Wind Waker. I love how you jump to conclusions about me. I played a lot of titles, Wind Waker included. I didn't push titles off due to graphics or game-play. What I said was that there were only a few titles that got any real action, and of course by that I meant that there were only a few that I played very much at all. I haven't had any problems with the memory cards from Nintendo, only the offbrand ones. I didn't try the off-brand ones; all of my problems were with Nintendo's memory cards. Look back at alot of the PS2 games you played. I bet alot of them also came out for the X-Box. Sure did. Final Fantasy X and X-2, Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, Dragon Quest VIII, Tekken 5 & Tekken Tag Tournament, and all of the other games that I'm blanking out on (not to mention all of my old PSX games)---I should have just bought their 'Box counterparts. Oh, right. Hiead |

KOTOR was originally a PC game.
I mean, you may as well describe Oblivion as a console game. |

It is simple, clean, and efficient. Sure, it doesn't work for a lot of games, but neither does the X-Box control (Man I really don't like the X-Box control). Excluding the PC from the gaming market is not only a shame, but a horrible idea. A PC is a viable gaming option. You can buy controls for PC, if you feel so strongly. |

Halo 2 is not on the PC, yet. They are making it exclusively for the Vista operating system.

The PS2 has a gigantic game lineup.
or did you mean at launch? |
I say the Wii will be better because with the remote, games like Red Steel are gonna be awesome. It'll be like you're really there. And the nunchuck attachment, too cool. As for the PS3 however, I've been told that the price is ridiculous. So stick with the Wii all you game lovin' people.

The price isn't all that ridiculous. It is abnormally high, but the PS3 delivers power. It's also got a great game lineup.

Eh so far the PS3 isn't doing too well(still early in the game though). The gundam game on it has the quality of a good PS1 game but with a even crappier framerate(Really, I see no exscuse for this)..Also, there were 2 other bad games. So far from what I've see on X-Play reviews, the game by Insomniac(I JUST forgot the name) is worth getting. Even some sony fans are a bit "unhappy" with newly purchased system..I guess only time will tell..x.x

The Wii has a great game lineup, too, and they'll both be obsolete in two years.

Assuming the Wii kicks off well, I can imagine all sorts of games being made for it, like I think a larger version of Wii Sports would be awesome with things like darts, cricket, fencing, even maybe something old school like jousting :P |

I say wii because from what i been told PS3 has a whole bunch of unfixable bugs like games not saving after a certain amounbt of use and such

Thats because you never gave any of the really good titles a chance. Like eveyone else you pushed them of because of the friendly graphics or gameplay. For example, Wind Waker. Alot of people were skeptic after seeing the graphics for it. I was, I almost didnt get it. But I decided to give it a try and it was a great game, almost as good as OOT. No matter what system, you need to give the games a try. Also I have a GC, I got it the christmas after it came out. I haven't had any problems with the memory cards from Nintendo, only the offbrand ones.
Also I'm sorry you feel that way about the X-Box. I absolutly loved mine. In fact I almost got a PS2 but changed my mind after I saw PS2's supposedly "HUGE" game line up. In that "HUGE" line up there were very few console only games that I would like to have. While the x-box and the cube had many great console only games. Not only was Halo great, but so was Halo 2(multiplayer), Knights of the Old Republic 1&2, and Fable. Those are just some of the console only games. Look back at alot of the PS2 games you played. I bet alot of them also came out for the X-Box. Which you choose to get on the PS2. I can't imagine why when most of the multiple console games where alot better on the x-box.
