I don't know if this belongs here, 'cuz...well, there's not really a suggestion forum for Byond. Anyways, I was browsing around on Newgrounds the other day and decided I was gunna rank a game lowly...and thought of Byond. Well, why don't we have sort of a 'blam' system? If we could RATE games, instead of putting them on our top 10, it would make things much more fair. If you don't like a game, give it a 0. If you like it a lot, give it a 10. I don't know how well it would work out, but hey, it's a suggestion.

Elation

I'm not really for this idea- it gives too much control to the unwashed plebian masses. With the current system, all you can do is show your appreciation for a game. If you could downgrade it by giving it a 0, this would add a whole new level of control (in the Newgrounds system, if a flash entry has it's score lowered below a certain number, it's removed- deleted.).

Imagine if I pulled a DBZ: relegr8-style stunt, but with the aim of getting every game I didn't like deleted? :(

Right now you can 'abuse' the ranking system but the only thing you can screw with is how positive a game's rank is, which limits effectively how much damage you can do. The ability to spread destruction and hate instead of love and joy can only be detrimental to the paradise haven that is BYOND.
