Suggestion:why have entry for email on someones index card

I have no idea how to contact anyone theres no byond member pming and email is not listed on a members index card.

It is an option to have your email address show, most people just opt-out. There is BYOND Member "pming", it's called the pager. I would, however, like to see a site based pager at some point, but it isn't important.

How do I use the pager I can't find the link. May I also suggest that when you click a members name it should give you the option of paging them

The pager is part of the BYOND suite of software. If you are not a member, however, you cannot page other non-members, nor can you page members unless paged first(I think this is an option set by user preferences). The best thing to do to get their attention is to make a comment on their blog, assuming they allow non-members to comment.

No, you have a key. Members are those who are willing to "donate" to BYOND($15/year) and in return get pager functionality, blogs, a little file space, and the piece of mind knowing that you are helping support BYOND.

You are just a regular user.

There really isn't an alternative to the pager, unless you can find where the person is in a game and join to talk to them(use the "People" button on the side). That is about the best you can do.

Actually, members have the option to allow people to page them first. It all depends on what the member wants.

I thought non-members can page a certain number of times per day or week or something... or am I way off base?
