Byond And Ubuntu problem

Well Guys i did it YAY.. i really don't know how but it works PERFECTLY!!

All i did was to get this program called Sidenet for wine. This program made a copy of wine for me so it was no longer under root and Poof it worked. So i guess i will join the byond linux guild (if i figure out how) and probably make some suggestion to people who get the same problem as me.

P.S I used your tutorial Flame Sage it was great!


Oh ya also i am running the current version of byond under the current version of wine ^_^

That looks great! I will have to look into the sidenet program -- perhaps it will work better for me.

yeah sidenet is good for getting stuff like IE running. it contained a variety of dlls and fonts that are usually needed.

i've used it in the past, but not for BYOND. sounds like a plan.
