I am currently on my brothers computewr because my browser is being bloacked by a virus. Only Norton can stop the virus, and whenever I have Norton open I am fine. I stupidly uninstalled it today forgetting about this. Now I can't use any browsers, but all my other internet programs are fine.
These are the details of the virus that I can remember:
HTTP Loft (toolbar)
High Risk!
Constantly working
*************************
Norton would block this like every 5 mins ... it was so annoying . . .
I have spysweeper, zone alarm, ad-aware, and System mechanic ... and none of them can find it.
Anyone have any idea of how to help ?

Try running Panda's online scan (google it), and see what it comes up with. Failing that, download Windows System Tray Analyzer, and check what it flags as high risk - If you can find any processes as high risk that could be the probable cause, see about removing them and check for them being started up automatically (Check your list of startup programs, in msconfig (Start -> Run -> "msconfig")
