(ACCIDENTALLY WRONG SECTION. COULD SOMEONE MOVE THIS TO COMPUTERS & TECHNOLOGY?)

One of my friends is having trouble plugging in his computer. He says that the fan keeps getting faster and faster until it even blows papers around the room. He also told me that the monitor receives no input from the computer. Could someone please make a diagram of showing him how to properly do it? I'm not that good at helping with problems like that

Crispy	It's hard to give much help without knowing more details... Make sure everything's plugged in properly, so it's not loose or backwards.

Upinflames	is it possible that he installed a new fan that doesn't go with his CPU
