I am looking for a barebone PC to make into a pretty good gaming PC. Here is one i found:

Wouldn't anything work?

Any barebone PC can become a good gaming PC.

Unless you specify what you want we could give you one of those computers from '89. If I'm thinking the right date.

Thats what I was talking about.

A PC from '89 like I said I could get you could be untouched. And thus, its a new (but old, though unused), barebone PC.

Oh before i forget i have one more question. I was wondering if that PC could handle Vista

i know next to nothing about vista but i think there are better deals than that barebone

heres one that you might like i dont know if you dont want AMD processor but this one comes with some memory (512MB) and a CPU fan and i dont know but i would think it would come with a heatsink.

there are alot of small cheap and bigger barebone kits that include extra stuff that you can get.

Vista needs atleast a gig of ram. A nvidia 7 series or better and atleast a pentium 4 3.0 or better.

If you want all the shiny vista effects, you need a DX 10 card. That means an nvidia 8 series. ATI doesn't have one out quite yet.

I have vista and I have all the shiny effects on a DX9 card.
