After a while ago of installing System Mechanic on vista I noticed my computer was becoming somewhat slow. And after using the task manager to see what program is using the most CPU if found that System Mechanic was using anywhere from 50% to 100% of the CPU. My question to the BYOND community is there anyway to stop system mechanic from using that much CPU besides uninstalling or closing the process that is using that amount of CPU? Don't get me wrong System Mechanic is excellent and all but it just uses too much CPU.
What's system mechanic?

It's a program that checks your computer for problems and fixes them. Some examples are broken shortcuts, and how defragmented your hard drive is.
Isn`t there a way to make it only check at certan time of when you tell it to manualy? Go though the settings and see if ya can if not see if theres any settings that would affect it like that. You might need to uninstall then reinstall if you don`t remember. Other than that I dought theres much else. Besides looking for a different version if there is one.
