Implementing this feature is not possible now or in the foreseeable future
To keep people from AFK rank challenging, when someone is rank challenged they should get a popup asking if they want to accept the challenge or not. If they accept it then the fight continues like normal, if they decline or log out then they are automatically stripped of their rank and the challenger is declared the winner by default.
