Xauko - Just another Ripper?

I was cruisin' around BYOND, looking for a game to play, when I ran across an ORPG.

The name was Xauko; and I figured hell why not, I'll try.

Lo-and-behold, I get in, and it looks EXACTLY like a rip off of Seika + Celestial Chaos.

After talking to the owner, he simply told me that no one like Icussion; so I told him no one would like his game it's a blatant rip-off. He then proceeded to ban me.

I don't know where I'm going with this, but it's more of a heads up not to play this crappy game.

Just because a game looks similar, doesn't mean it is a rip off of another game. Even if they used concepts used in either games, that doesn't mean anything either. Considering that both games take basic concepts of most MMOs and incoperate it into their own game.

Also, the graphics are not exactly the same, even the player base is a little different. Even if he had ripped off Celestial Chaos, who cares? That game uses like 90% RPG Maker graphics, the owner of Celestial Chaos never held any right to most of the graphics he used to begin with.

Sounds like you are posting this more as a way to try and get even with a owner that banned you for being a jerk on his game.

yeaaaa most of my graphics were from BOF2 or RPG maker
but this game looks like Seika not like Celestial Chaos

and wasnt the seika source released previously?

Wrong. I could care less if the guy banned me from his game, I didn't feel like playing a game with ripped graphics. If I wanted to play a game like that, I'd play Seika.

And yes, most of the graphics were ripped from Seika, but you failed to mention that, so I don't see a point to your post. I don't see why you go around BYOND trolling everyones post just to try and put them in their place. You're the most arrogant BYOND Member I've seen, and I don't have any more time to fool around with you.

No, because he's the same as Garthor; a troll. If you've seen how much negativity he's posted, I'm sure you'd agree.

just a head's up: Garthor was not a troll. yes he was crude, and often blunt to the point of being mean, but he was right more often than not. and the kids cried about getting the truth smacked in their face. he was also pretty darn good in DM programming, which is more than can be said about anyone currently in this thread.

speaking of: thread is de-generating into useless chatter. Lucifer, you're not exactly an angel in the forums either.
