An "iconer" is someone who draws the in game graphics and a "mapper" is someone who creates the games maps.

Coder/programmer guy/girl who creates the backend of the game
Pixel artist is the person who takes pixels and uses them to create the actual Icons which at that point are not in map form thats the mappers job He/she sees how the enviroment should be and uses the icons to make the map Kind of like a puzzle so Programmer he creates the foundation then smushes it together with the Puzzle in order to make a working world Pixel Artist Puzzle piece maker Mapper Puzzle completer |
