I know this isn't the right forum to ask it on but I know some people use DirectX. My problem is when I render a texture as a HUD through sprites, the corners that I wish to be transparent show up as the color I use. My question is how do I make part of the texture transparent.

When you have to preface your post with that, you are better off just slapping yourself repeatedly in the face. Go to a 3d effects forum. There are many to choose from. And they have real 3D experts at them, just waiting to help people.
