Then you will have to do something else.

You now have two options.
1) Do a full system restore ((IE, reinstall Windows))
2) Do a partial system restore ((Keeps the files and stuff, but wipes your programs and registry entries))

Depending on the specific make of your computer, you might only be able to do option 1. So, call the manufacturers customer service if you're still under warranty, if not look around online and you might have to purchase a restore CD.

I think I might already have the CD...But..One site told me that I can run a virus check or something on my computer and fix it this is what it said:

Your "anti-virus" program is not really an "Anti" but more like a virus remover program. So those programs really don't have a way of blocking viruses from entering your system, but it just removes them quickly so that it doesn't have enough time to infiltrate other files. In your case, your antivirus was no match for whatever virus you have. The first thing you'll want to try is booting your system in safe mode and running your virus scan and seeing if that finds anything. Usually it will and you should be okay.

But..How do you do this? I have searched the internet for days and this is all I found.

OK, if you thinks its a virus that can actually be removed, here is a link I suggest you read :
http://forums.subratam.org/index.php?showtopic=28807

It mentions a lot of decent programs in it (they are free, I recommend you download them), and if you need any further instructions on how to use them just search around Google.

Heh... right, sorry.

Anyways, repeatedly hit the F8 key as your computer starts up and before the Windows logo appears.

That will allow you to boot your computer into safemode. Run whatever antivirus programs you already have, and if that doesnt work, you will have to rely on reinstalling your OS.

then pop down to your local computer store, and buy one! or find a friend to download a free one from the internet and burn it onto a CD for you, so that you can install it.
