You know whats annoying when you go to use the search an people post tags on the hub so when you search it pulls up the game even if its not related that is so annoying an I myself think its something people should be able to report an have the hub takin down or changed. Its annoying like this for one for example..

The only in that list thats even related to the game is Bleach its only a bleach game yet here you are searching for say a bey blade game or something an bam this annoying hub entry pops up really that kind of tagging shouldnt be allowed it just screw with the search engine an wastes peoples time.
An for the record iv seen people go as far as having 100+ tags.

Well I havent seen to that much anymore but it was really big a while back an was bloody annoying. One thing I want to point out though is though some games use tags other games just have some persons key an that pulls up in the search as well. Like say the game has an iconer with the key DBZ_Player1234 when you search for DBZ it also pulls up that key.
Iv seen that happen a few times. However more people tend to abuse the search system with tags an its mostly really bad rips lol.. I havent seen to many hubs with tags but I also havent been searching for games. I remember running into this one game that was almost a full page longer because of tags. An what they did was change the font size an color so the only way you see the tag is if you did a select all or something. An if I remember right it not only had a huge list of anime but also keywords like hentai, porn etc I think the hub died out or they removed it but I remember it well because it was like more then a full page in office on the smallest font. I mean I have nothing against people trying to make there player base bigger but there is a point of just ridiculous. | |
Suppressing the entry would remove it from searches, except that's really for games that are outright abusive in some way. I wonder if it's worth setting up some kind of admin-settable flag on the hub entry to simply exclude games from any non-title keyword search that abuse this. I'm not sure how feasible that is.
