I know what you might be thinking. That I'm a little begger asking for things perhaps I don't deserve etc.
All I want is a little code for a 48-hour Xbox live code sent to my e-mail
[email protected]
Just to see what Xbox live is like. I'm new to this whole online gaming thing. Especially on the Xbox. So before I spend around £40 on maybe a years subscription I was wondering anyone just could give me a little 48 hour trial code they may have?
Thank you so much!
I'm sorry for being sound a beggar and asking for this, but I just want a quick go to see if I want the years subscription... seeing as I don't have much money I don't want to go splashing it on things I won't use.
Anyway thank you so much! and have a lovely day and thank you perhaps in advance.

Well, I've looked online but most of them are probably already used. Here's one that might work (I believe this is a 2-month trial):
kgbmp-qx3td-78t76-qd6wh-bkj4b If not, most Live games come with cards so just spend some money and buy a game with the card inside. |
I'll try and remember to e-mail you the one I got with Halo 3 when I get home.
The 48 hour trials are a bit bogus. It's the sort of thing that you spend a month on before you really get how good it is. If you don't have a headset then you're really not experiencing XBOX Live*. If you don't have friends already using the service, or the right games, it's also a bit disappointing. Personally I use my XBOX Live account as a phone most days to talk to certain people I know in real life and I use it for online gaming about every second or third game. Some people will play games like Halo, Gears of War, Call of Duty, Rainbow Six, etc every night. So your mileage may vary on it. That said, because Microsoft make a lot of money off XBOX Live they strongly encourage every game to include some form of multiplayer mode. So if you ever feel like playing online you've almost always got a recent (if not new) game to play. If you like online gaming then the XBOX 360 was probably the right choice even with the cost. XBOX Live beats the snot out of the Playstation Network in ever area but price and the XBOX 360 is geared more towards online gaming than any other console out there. *If you didn't get a headset with your XBOX unit, and you decide to sign up for XBOX Live, go with the 12 month pre-paid that comes with the free headset. Even if you have it on mute most of the time and don't chat it still comes in really handy (not to mention the social aspect of being able to chat rather than just shoot each other). |

Playstation 3 broke hella terrible when they first came out, almost as bad the the Xbox 360 when they were first out. The Nintendo Wii had a few minor problems.
And personally, I like the Xbox 360 online better then the Playsation 3 online. And I owned all 3 systems. I am willing to pay for the expierance to be online with it, and lots of other people are too, so it must not be that bad. Really I think you are just a Sony whore. Also, on a side note, you used to get free Xbox live gold during the weekend, did they stop that? |
If you create an Xbox Live ID on the Xbox, you should be able to activate a month of free Xbox Live Gold on it. Though I think it only work four times on onto different accounts.

To answer the question of the guy in this topic: Assumuing you bought an xbox360 with a harddrive (or you got the arcade version) you should be able to make a gold account for a free month of xbox live. |

Everything you posted reeks of Sony fanboyism.

Dude, if it's online gaming you're interested in you're best off getting a Playstation. Putting things into perspective, heres a chart of how many consoles I've seen breakage complaints for:
Xblock360: WHOLEY *#%&!!! Almost all of em! Within a couple months?!
Wii: A few, not many.
Playstation3: Uh.. a couple? Maybe? I think?
I would say Playstation has the better games too, but that's debatable.
