I got an answer, although I didn't like it.

I'm playing on a private server
First of all depending on the target you are fighting, they may or may not have healing abilities. All mobs will regenerate heath at one time or another. BUT, if they are currently in combat, unless they have a special skill or spell, that usually dosen't happen.

Asking about gameplay in a private server is like asking about information for the afterlife. You won't get any clear cut answer. Privates servers were made from a source code a fired employee of Blizzard had. He got upset and leaked a very early source.

Since then, people have designed private servers, all originally based around that leaked source. People have tried their best to fix glitches in the private servers, and make it as compatible as possible with any and all new World of Warcraft content, unfortunately there are still tons of glitches and errors and I doubt any time soon there will be any fixes for these.

Playing on a private server is like playing only half the game. You loose any sense of any real accomplishment, and you miss out on a lot of normal, real game play that is lost on private servers due to glitches, lag, bugs or any other problems every server suffers from every day.

I suggest you just break down and pay the $15.00 a month for the real Blizzard World of Warcraft experience. It is totally worth it.

I've tried that. It sucked. $15 a month for crap. That's what it was.

I'd rather play crap for free, than for $15.

If you don't like the game, don't play it.
If you run so far away from their "area", they'll just assume you fled.
They'll run back to their area and regenerate so fast they'll have maximum health by the time they're back.

I know this is true for the earlier monsters you face, so I'll assume it's true for these ones too.

Why would you say that?
I mean honestly.

It sounds to me like you're just too impatient and wanted to be level 70 in a day.

Evidently he likes and wants to play crap. So I don't quite see why he's complaining.
