What do you people see as freedom of speech? Do you support it?
i live my life on the "freedom of speech" basis(well more for the lulz but yea...). Why do people get in trouble for expressing their opinions, and mostly saying the truth which others dont want to admit? since when is religion, politics, race, sex etc controversial? some people really need to distinguish between truths and lies. i know this post will be deleted soon because it is what you call ekh.... controversial but maybe i will get some of your opinions

Saying ED contains facts is like saying fundies have an unbiased opinion of evolution, just so you know.

Sorry guy, but freedom of speech doesn't apply in the private sector, only the public. Particularly on the internet. Your constitutional rights, that you may or may not be fully familiar with (in this case, I'm leaning toward the latter), do not apply to certain places.
Other countries, websites, television, radio, magazines, etc. Are in some cases not at all covered, in many cases, covered except for certain circumstances, and in exceedingly few, covered completely. You can't go blathering profanity on the radio, the FCC will have your nuts, you can't practice your first amendment rights on American soil within 200 feet of certain establishments, etc. This is especially true on the internet. The community has no reason to respect whatever you think you have the right to say. If it doesn't belong, this community isn't yours, and just deal with it being deleted. Period. There's no rallying, there's no protesting it, and there's absolutely nothing going to change the mind of those in charge of the community. |
